International Network of M&A Partners
CLIENT INFORMATION
The International Association of Merger and Acquisition Professionals (IMAP) is a global networking organization consisting of over 50 prestigious, independently owned, merger and acquisition advisory and boutique investment banking firms located throughout the world.
SITUATION
As an organization whose members are scattered all over the world, IMAP was faced with the challenges of communicating effectively with its members regardless of their location, and creating the necessary environment with which its members could cooperate and share information with each other in a cost and time effective manner.
SOLUTION
In order to address the above-mentioned challenges, Global Reach developed IMAP’s web site the following main features:
- The site administrator is responsible for maintaining the member directory and creating accounts for the principals of each member organization.
- IMAP members can access a wide range of resources and tools via a secure, “members only” area.
- A discussion board, a schedule of meetings, and a diverse library, which includes logos, surveys, PowerPoint presentations, sale/purchase mandates and other research materials make up the IMAP resource library.
- The site’s comprehensive search engine also allows an IMAP member to search through all member profiles and identify organizations and corresponding principals that operate in a particular service area, industry or geographical region.
- Once information has been filtered, it can then be exported in a number of forms, such as an excel spreadsheet or a csv file.
BENEFITS
The application Global Reach designed and developed for IMAP provided them with the following benefits:
- Using conventional communication approaches such as mail, IMAP would have required a substantial budget to communicate regularly with its domestic and international clients.
- The collection of resources available on the IMAP web site provides an enormous value to all IMAP members.
- The IMAP web site acts not only as a central repository of information but also as a communication tool for all IMAP members.
- IMAP has improved substantially the satisfaction of its members and can now focus on expanding its pool of members rather than building a mailing distribution center.
