Global Reach is proud to have received several awards and honors throughout our thirteen years of service. The following are a select few of our more recent accolades.
Prometheus Award Best New Innovation in Government
Presented by Technology Association of Iowa
TAI presented Global Reach with the Best New Innovation in Government for the design and development of the I-JOBS website and custom application system located at http://www.ijobsiowa.gov. Built as an online relief response to the natural disasters of 2008, the Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) was able to efficiently award grant money, as well as help Iowans manage and track their applications.
Prometheus Award Software Company of the Year Finalist
Presented by Technology Association of Iowa
Global Reach was selected as a finalist for Software Company of the Year, because of a significant acquisition of a smaller competitor and 110 new clients; expanding operations to Kansas City, KS; giving $40,000 to the central Iowa community in donations and services; and re-investing $300,000 in software development for its five flagship products.
Prometheus Award CEO of the Year Finalist
Presented by Technology Association of Iowa
Global Reach President and CEO, Iacovos Zachariades, was a finalist for TAI's CEO of the Year as a result of leading Global Reach to its most profitable year ever despite the economic downturn. In addition, under his direction the company re-invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in software and community development. The staff grew by 25% and expanded operations to Kansas City, KS.
Silver W3 Awards
Presented by the International Academy of Visual Arts

Global Reach has received the Silver W3 Award from the International Academy of Visual Arts for multiple websites. The W3 Awards honor outstanding websites, web marketing and web advertising. Over 2,300 entries are submitted each year for the awards.

Outstanding Website Web Award
Presented by the Web Marketing Association
Global Reach has received the Outstanding Website Web Award from the Web Marketing Association for their creation of a website for Targeted Job Fairs, a Dice company (www.targetedjobfairs.com). Receiving more than 2,400 entries from 40 countries, the WebAwards set the standard of excellence for website development across the globe. This award was received in September of 2007.
Website of the Year
Presented by the Iowa Tourism Office
Reiman Gardens’ website (www.reimangardens.com) received the Tourism Website Award by the Iowa Tourism Office which is a part of the Iowa Department of Economic Development. The awards are presented by the Iowa Tourism Office in conjunction with the Travel Federation of Iowa (TFI) and honor businesses, organizations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Iowa tourism industry. The award was presented in October 2006.
Webby Award Official Honoree
Presented by International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences
The Webby Awards are the leading international honor for websites. In April of 2006, Global Reach was recognized as an Official Honoree for creating a site that "exhibits remarkable achievement" for the development of Indemnus' website (www.indemnus.com). The awards are sponsored by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences and are recognized as the preeminent website awards in the world. More than 5,500 entries were submitted from all 50 states and 40 countries.
Prometheus Award Business Product of the Year Finalist

PropertyFusion, our web-based real estate website solution, was named a finalist for the Business Product of the Year Prometheus Award by the Technology Association of Iowa (TAI) in March of 2006. The solution has contributed to us becoming the #1 website provider (in terms of market share) to real estate companies in the state of Iowa.

Our web-based e-commerce solution, eGlobalStores, was named the Product of the Year by Software and Information Technology of Iowa (SITI) in March of 2005. The award is given annually to a product that delivers both high value to businesses and demonstrates a "high level of technical innovation and sustained ability to survive in the marketplace."
Technology Company of the Year
Presented by Software & Information Technology of Iowa
Global Reach was named the Technology Company of the Year, Small Business Category, by Software and Information Technology of Iowa (SITI) in March of 2004. The award is given annually to "the Iowa technology company that continues to demonstrate solid business practices, strong and relevant business decisions in normal times and tough circumstances and develops thoughtful, innovative and relevant products for their target market."
