Ames, Iowa - Global Reach Internet Productions is proud to announce the launch of the re-designed United States Air Force Auxiliary, Civil Air Patrol website. This new website, based on SiteViz (TM), a Content Management Solution developed by Global Reach, enables more than 50 users to develop original content, while maintaining a consistent look and feel for the civilian run organization.

"With SiteViz (TM), Civil Air Patrol can quickly build and maintain content-rich, dynamic, and personalized sites and sub-sites," says Usman Haq, Vice-President of Global Reach Internet Productions. "Not only is this website 100 percent browser-based, it also has a zero learning curve for WYSIWYG editing, templates for press releases, job opportunities, links, events, resources and staff directories." The new website also includes:

  • A cascade style sheet generator
  • Support for multiple domains with different entry points
  • Access for multiple users
  • Work flow capabilities
  • Document libraries

"The content management system eases page development through use of style sheets and word processor-like features. The database driven foundation makes dynamic content easy to input and helps ensure content is current," says Paul Capicik, Manager of Information Technology at the Civil Air Patrol Headquarters, in Montgomery Alabama. "Global Reach delivered on several requirements we felt were critical for our new web site design - reduced administrative tasks, better standardization of look and feel despite numerous content providers, minimized need for html expertise by content providers, and flexible features that provide a varied choice of presentation pages of our diverse subject matter," says Capicik.
