Ames, Iowa – Global Reach Internet Productions was recently recognized for work on three more of their websites. The Davey Awards, a competition organized by The Academy of Interactive Visual Arts, presented Global Reach with four Silver Awards in the 2014 Davey Awards contest.
These awards were given for Global Reach’s work on the Fighting Burrito, Greater Des Moines Partnership, and Embria Health Sciences websites. Fighting Burrito’s website received two Silver Davey Awards as an entry in the ‘Restaurant’ and ‘Homepage’ categories. The Greater Des Moines Partnership received one Silver Davey Award in the ‘Government’ category. Lastly, the website belonging to Embria Health Sciences received a Silver Davey Award in the ‘Homepage’ category.
The Davey Awards recognizes the best in web, design, video, advertising and mobile from small firms located all over the world. As one of the largest and most established award competitions in the industry, the Davey Awards serves to recognize smaller firms with big ideas- relying on creativity and forward thinking to push the envelope on what is possible, rather than a hefty budget. These are the firms that think outside the box and refuse to be limited by tight budgets. They are motivated by fresh concepts, and look to new approaches for accomplishing, and even surpassing, the same aims of their deep-pocket competitors.
Among the judging panel for the Davey Awards, you’ll find strong, established reputations from varying areas of the industry, all selected and approved by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. These judges are chosen as a part of an invitation-only body comprised of professionals from celebrated media, advertising, and marketing companies across the board.
