It has been an exciting couple of months for Global Reach. As you may already know, in August, Global Reach was recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of America’s fastest growing, privately-held companies. The excitement has now carried over into September. With the new month came two new awards for our web design and development work.
Earlier this month, the Web Marketing Association announced the winners of their 2014 WebAwards. Global Reach was honored to have taken the award for ‘Best of Industry.’ The award was given for the Civil Air Patrol Congressional Gold Medal Journey website in the military websites category.
Each entry was scored by at least three expert judges who were not told the category in which the website was entered, nor were they informed as to who entered the website. The only information judges were given was the website URL, the mission statement, and the prospective audience to which the website was meant to appeal. On a scale of 0-10 in seven levels of criteria, Global Reach received 62 points out of a potential score of 70. In addition to receiving a WebAward, Global Reach has also recently been recognized by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts W3 Awards. Global Reach was awarded a W3 Award for our work on the Greater Des Moines Partnership website. Our web firm took home a Silver Award for the ‘Government Websites’ category.
W3 Award entries are reviewed by a panel of judges chosen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. What is unique about the W3 Awards is that this competition allows for smaller, lesser-known firms to compete directly with the largest and most well-known agencies. Check out our press release for more details on our W3 Award, and check out the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts website to learn more about the awards themselves.
Global Reach could not be more excited and proud to have received such positive recognition in the last few months. We are incredibly grateful to our clients, both for their continued loyalty and business, as well as for allowing us to work on the kinds of challenging projects that earn awards.
