9 Facebook Posts That Will Increase Engagement
Posted on 07/28/2021 at 09:19 AM
Some questions we frequently encounter with our clients are, “What should we post?” and “How can we increase our engagement on social media?”
Social media marketing is a critical component of any marketing program, but it has to be more than checking a box. As a rule of thumb, no matter which social platform you’re on, ensure that your post lands somewhere on the Content Marketing Matrix and is at least one of the following:
- Entertaining
- Educating
- Inspiring
- Convincing
To get your creative juices flowing, we’ve come up with 9 Facebook post ideas that are sure to inspire your social.
1. Branded graphics
The options are endless. These graphics can be:
- Client quotes
- Powerful stats
- Tips and tricks
- Sales or discounts
- Announcements
- Holiday greetings
And so much more! Your customers want to hear from and see your brand regularly. Remember: Stay consistent with your imagery for a cohesive and seamless experience.
For an example, see the branded graphics we used in our a recent Facebook post below.
2. Testimonials
Let your users advocate for you. Using reviews is a great start; working with clients to collect photos, videos or stories sharing their success or satisfaction is even better.
BONUS: Review your hashtags and tags to utilize user-generated content. It’s free, and it’s powerful.
3. Behind-the-scenes
Prepping for an event? Preparing customer shipments? In the middle of your design process? Let your followers be a part of the journey!
Showing your “unedited” side helps strengthen feelings of connection amongst your audience.
4. Infographic
They’re not going away anytime soon! Searching for infographic content? Annual reports, whitepapers, and other longform copy lends itself well to an infographic. Industry statistics and how-tos are also another crowd favorite.

Keep your audience guessing and surprise them with new formats.

7. Video
Consider a video series:
- Team Q&A
- Staff spotlight
- Product demos
- 1Tutorials
- Industry best practices
None of these have to be video series, and would all work well with photos or even text, but videos have proven to yield more engagement. Plus, your audience (and the algorithm) will appreciate the variety in your content.
