The challenge
Global Reach built Baird's former website in 2010. When it was launched, it was way ahead of its time in design and functionality. In fact, its custom e-commerce processes were still serving them well 13 years later, but the design became dated. Even though the site was still meeting their needs, Baird decided it was time to overhaul it to make it more welcoming and mobile-friendly.
The solution
Global Reach designed a sleek, no-fuss, responsive new website to let Baird Mounts' products take center stage. With the e-commerce solution's use of product attributes and variants, users are now directed to the parent product page where they can then select their desired measurements before adding to the cart. Baird was also able to attach product specification sheets and assembly directions to each product description. The new content management system is much more user-friendly than the former site and allows the Baird team to control many more aspects of the site on their own. The digital marketing team used keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO best practice guidelines to optimize key pages. Additionally, they implemented image alt tag keywords and Google Analytics 4 on the site.
