What You Need
To link a Google Ads property to a GA4 property, you will need certain permissions in both accounts.

Editor or Admin permissions in the GA4 account you want to link to

Admin access in the Google Ads account you want to connect to GA4

The access will need to be on the same email address
Step By Step: How do I link Google Analytics with Google Ads?

Open up your Google Ads property

Click on “Tools And Settings” on the top navigation bar

Under “Setup”, click on “Linked Accounts”

On the next screen, under “From Google” select “Google Analytics (GA4) & Firebase”

Click on “Details”

Search for the Google Analytics 4 property that you want to be linked. You can do this by searching for the Google Analytics 4 property name or unique code

Once you have located the property to add, click on “Link” under “Actions”

Select the box to “Import Google Analytics audiences after linking (recommended) and click “Link”

Your Google Ads and Google Analytics 4 accounts should now be successfully linked
