Ames, Iowa - Global Reach is excited to share an update to our SiteViz CMS Platform. We are now able to ensure HIPAA compliance for clients in the healthcare industry.

HIPAA, or the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, is a federal law that requires the protection of sensitive health information. In December 2022, the Department of Health and Human Services released new guidelines for complying with HIPAA when using analytics software.

Since this announcement, we have been working hard to make our SiteViz CMS System HIPAA compliant. To achieve this, Global Reach upgraded SiteViz to encrypt data submitted through forms, keep track of who accesses data that falls into the HIPAA compliance scope, and provide detailed access reports. In addition, we can use Matomo for our healthcare industry clients who need to maintain HIPAA compliance. Matomo is an alternative to Google Analytics trusted by entities such as the United Nations, the European Commission, and NASA. This powerful and secure platform enables us to have access to key analytics while ensuring HIPAA Compliance.

In addition to being HIPAA compliant, SiteViz CMS is also WCAG compliant per ADA Section 508. In addition to this, SiteViz is PCI compliant, GDPR compliant, SOC-2 compliant, and follows the OWASP top 10 guidelines. While not officially certified, SiteViz meets all of the FedRamp requirements.
