Global Reach President and CEO, Iacovos Zachariades, traveled to Washington D.C. on December 18 to meet with Senator Chuck Grassley and Congressman Tom Latham. As part of the 2012 Innovate Iowa Fly-In, he was joined by representatives from the Iowa Biotech Association, Community Health Charities of Iowa, and Vertex Pharmaceuticals. One of the key issues discussed during the meetings was the economic boost that vendor relationships can provide in the state. Iacovos specifically addressed some of the challenges hindering the growth of Global Reach, including the lack of workforce availability and restrictions imposed by caps on work Visas.
