Disaster relief is on its way for victims of the 2008 floods and natural disasters, through the Iowa Finance Authority’s (IFA) new initiative: JumpStart Housing Assistance Program. Global Reach Internet Productions recently deployed the “JumpStart” website for IFA, providing affected Iowans with an online resource and application system for the program. The website also includes a large scope of related information presented in downloadable PDFs (e.g., situation assistance, definitions, and qualification checklists).
“We were eager to support Iowa Finance Authority in their efforts to bring Iowans relief and housing options after an especially challenging year,” said Iacovos Zachariades, President of Global Reach.
The “JumpStart” website was the result of outstanding teamwork and communication between IFA and Global Reach. A website of this functionality and information-proportion should have taken several months to complete; however, it was created and deployed within a week. “We are extraordinarily proud of the amount of teamwork that was involved over the course of this project and the speed at which the JumpStart website was implemented. This accomplishment is reinforced by knowing that Iowans who need assistance can use this website to access immediate answers and support,” said Chris Taulborg, a Project Manager at Global Reach.
About the Iowa Finance Authority (IFA): Established in 1975, IFA undertakes programs to assist in the attainment of housing for low- and moderate-income Iowans.
