The Web Marketing Association’s annual WebAward Competition has occurred since 1997. Independent judges review websites across 97 industry categories, scoring each website out of 70 points. The highest-scoring website in each category is selected Best of Industry. If a website receives a score of 60 or higher, it receives the Outstanding Website award. If a website scores above average for its industry, it receives the Standard of Excellence award.
