Haverkamp Group
The Challenge
The Haverkamp Group is a collection of companies focused on real estate construction, development, and management. Haverkamp wanted to set up a new, WCAG-compliant website that would give investors a stunning first impression of Haverkamp Group and everything they have to offer. Their old website was on Wix which created a variety of issues for the client. Wix has limitations in how eye-catching website designs can be, is not WCAG compliant, and there are security concerns that go along with Wix.
The Solution
Global Reach created a new website for Haverkamp that met all of their unique needs and goals. Since the new website is on SiteViz, it is inherently mobile responsive, WCAG-compliant, and is highly-secure. Haverkamp also selected a variety of additional SiteViz modules for unique functionalities to make the site even more user-friendly and visually appealing. One of these modules is the new timelines module where the Haverkamp Group is able to add their timeline events into a WCAG-compliant module instead of leaving their timeline in their non-compliant PDF packet used on the old website. The new WCAG-compliant website is attractive and easy to use with enhanced functionality and security.
Iowa Office of Ombudsman
The Challenge
The Iowa Office of Ombudsman’s initial website was a subsection of the Iowa Legislature website. The Ombudsman website pages were difficult to navigate, which was ineffective in assisting the public. In addition to being difficult to find, the web pages were bland, outdated, and not mobile-friendly. The Office of Ombudsman was looking for a way to present its content in a user-friendly and interactive way. Their goal was to attract people to their website to gain knowledge about their services and processes and then quickly direct them to the appropriate resources for an effective outcome.
The Solution
Global Reach designed an eye-catching website highlighting the architectural and historical values of the Iowa Office of Ombudsman. The easily navigable website presents a user-friendly way for patrons to quickly locate necessary resources using a variety of devices (desktop, tablet, phone). The website’s functionality includes organizational features supported by the files, FAQ, and resources modules. A custom module for complaint management was also developed that allows visitors to navigate through a series of categorical boxes to obtain accurate information about who, where, and how to file various complaints. Submission forms are used throughout the website to allow for complaints to be filed and for visitors to request additional guidance. The website now allows visitors to gain knowledge about what the Office of Ombudsman can and cannot do as well as easily obtain resources for an effective outcome.
