Global Reach President and CEO, Iacovos Zachariades, received the 2010 Entrepreneur of the Year award from the Ames Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, February 10. The award was accepted and received during a press conference Thursday morning.

After receiving the award, Zachariades stated, “From our start in 1995, Global Reach has been fortunate to be part of such a great community. It has truly been a rewarding experience to watch Global Reach grow in Ames over the past 15 years.”

Zachariades was again recognized at the Ames Chamber of Commerce ‘Art of Community’ Annual Event, which was held Thursday evening at the Scheman Conference Center on the Iowa State University campus.

The Entrepreneur of the Year Award is presented to an exceptional business person who has provided outstanding service or product to their community. Additionally, the recipient must have proven a business success and community involvement.

The Ames Chamber of Commerce honors three individuals each year for their community involvement, business work, and entrepreneurship.
