In support of promoting Iowa communities and their exceptional quality of life, Global Reach has created a website for Iowa State University’s College of Human Science initiative: Rural Renaissance Community Index. The website is part of an effort to increase the visibility of smaller towns across the state, which do not receive as much publicity and attention as larger cities.
“Iowa offers a diverse array of opportunities to individuals, families, and businesses. Our firm was appreciative of the chance to work with ISU’s College of Human Science to help bring awareness to the benefits of living in this state,” said Iacovos Zachariades, President of Global Reach.
The website combines interactivity, indexes, and information databases to support RRCI’s mission and communication strategies. Administrators are able to update and manage details and information about each community, as well as collect a large amount of information via the website’s interactive tools.
“We were very excited to work on this project, and had a great experience collaborating with the passionate, civic-minded team members at Iowa State University,” said Chris Taulborg, Project Manager at Global Reach.
About Rural Renaissance Community Index (RRCI): RRCI is an initiative by Iowa State University's College of Human Sciences. Based on a set of factors thought to indicate community vibrancy and growth, researchers selected 128 locales within Iowa for the RRCI. The objective of the program is to help communities assess and promote current levels of rural community infrastructural, cultural, and societal features that develop and attract human capital needed to facilitate economic development in the new economy.
