Global Reach helped sponsor and host the CyberCafe for the Technology Association of Iowa’s (TAI) first annual Heartland GreenUp. The CyberCafe provided a space for conference attendees to network and take advantage of refreshments and complimentary Wi-Fi.

“It was a high volume area,” said Global Reach President and CEO, Iacovos Zachariades. “This provided a great opportunity for people to share ideas and business cards, and Global Reach was very happy to help facilitate that.”

The CyberCafe space was not limited to physical appearances and was set up on a Second Life platform so that virtual attendees could also partake in the networking aspects. In addition to refreshments and Wi-Fi, Global Reach also brought “green networking supplies” (paper and office products made from recycled materials for guests to use throughout the conference).
