Ames, Iowa - Global Reach is pleased to announce that they have received several awards at the 2016 Horizon Interactive Awards.
The Horizon Interactive Awards is an international competition that acknowledges excellence among interactive media creators from all over the globe. In 2016, the Horizon Awards celebrated the 15th year of their competition, which is well known for recognizing only the finest websites, videos, mobile applications, advertising campaigns, and more.
2016’s competition garnered 1200 entries, coming from every corner of the world. The wide-reaching awards program weighed entries from 40 out of the 50 United States, as well as 20 countries including Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, Germany, Greenland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Turkey, UK, Ukraine, and Uruguay.
The committee of judges is made up of an international, volunteered panel of seasoned industry experts, all with varying backgrounds and different roles in the media and advertising industries. Judges sought excellence in both creativity and functionality, looking at each entry and scoring on the following factors:
- Solution creativity and originality
- Overall graphic design/appearance/user experience
- Communication of message
- Technical merit
- Effectiveness of solution
