Google is updating its image size requirements for product listings in Google Merchant Center.
Beginning January 31, 2027, product images need to be at least 500 x 500 pixels to remain eligible for Google Shopping ads and free product listings. Google is already showing warnings in Merchant Center for images that may not meet the new requirement.
To help keep your products visible, we recommend reviewing your product images ahead of the deadline.
