iPhone/iPad

To configure an iOS device, please follow the instructions below:

1. From the Home screen choose Settings.

2. Scroll down and tap Mail.

3. Select Add Account.

4. Then tap Other from the bottom of the list.

5. Next, choose Add Mail Account.

6. Enter your account information:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

a. Name: Enter your name.

b. Email: Enter your Global Reach email address.

c. Password: Enter your Global Reach email password.

d. Description: Enter a description of the email address to display in the email account list on your iPhone.

7. Tap Next.

8. Enter the server information:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

a. IMAP/POP: Make sure IMAP is selected.

b. Name: (Should already be filled in) Enter your name.

c. Email: (Should already be filled in) Enter your Global Reach email address.

d. Description: (Should already be filled in) Enter a description of the email address.

Incoming Mail Server:

e. Host Name: Enter mail.globalreach.com.

f. User Name: Enter your Global Reach email address.

g. Password: Enter your Global Reach email password.

Outgoing Mail Server:

h. Host Name: Enter mail.globalreach.com.

i. User Name:Enter your Global Reach email address.

j. Password: Enter your Global Reach email password.

9. Tap Next.

10. Select what you would like synced then tap Save.


 

*iPhones almost always have the wrong default settings. You may need to update the outgoing server settings by clicking on the account you just created by following steps 1 and 2 then selecting your Global Reach email, then selecting the outgoing SMTP mail server, clicking on the Primary Server, and then ensuring the User Name and Password fields are filled in. Additionally, SSL should be enabled using port 465. When you are finished updating click on Done.

*You can adjust your IMAP mailbox behavior settings, such as how deleted items are handled, by following instructions on the iOS Server Sync page.

 

You should now be setup to receive and send email with your Global Reach email on your iPhone/iPad. If you have any trouble with this process, please contact Global Reach Support at support@globalreach.com.
